Meet the world's smartest cat - Kaiser! From skateboarding to backflipping to rolling a barrel, Kaiser the Bengal cat does it all.
These are the tricks Kaiser could perform as of his first birthday. Kai celebrated his first birthday on October 2nd, 2010.
Kai is a purebred clicker trained Bengal cat, who has learned everything he knows by me with the use of positive reinforcement. Kaiser chooses to do all of the behaviours shown in this video. I personally call him my "little dog in a cat costume" - he is so smart! I just love the little guy.
Kaiser can currently perform many other tricks that are not included in this video, and he is constantly learning more. Subscribe to keep up with his tricks!
My goal with Kaiser's training is to show the world that cats CAN be trained and that nothing is impossible with positive training methods!
Remember to always use positive reinforcement, to "use your clicker", and to do more with your cat!
Happy clicker training!

Well here we grow again.Yes the Reptile Expo is has outgrown our past home.So we are moving digs with the anticipation that we will be inviting our close family members from the world of exotic pets to our regular events.Yes this is now the Ontario Reptile and Exotic Pet Expo.... A first for Canada. Exclusive to Mississauga now visitors can enjoy the displays of reptiles and other exotics all under one roof.
What is the Ontario Reptile and Exotic Pet Expo?
The Ontario Reptile and Exotic Pet Expo is an event which allows individuals that have the same enthusiasm and passion for herpetoculture and aquaculture to gather in one location to share their experiences, their history and their concerns for the animals they all enjoy working with. "Herpetoculture" a word pegged by the late Tom Huff defined as the science and or keeping of reptiles. As is the definition of Aquaculture. At one time a sub ground hobby the keeping of reptiles, it has now become one of the fastest growing areas within the pet world. With this growth level also comes a much larger responsibility to the animals in which we care for.
One of the many objectives of The Ontario Reptile and Exotic Pet Expo is to assist in the education of the new keepers and updating some of the older keepers of exotics and reptiles. By offering many unique events at these Expo's we are hoping, along with the vendors, that many of the reptiles and exotics leaving the Expo to their new homes will enjoy many years of comfort and propagation to fulfill the wants of the many future herpetoculturists and aquaculturists.
Vendors from across the country display their respective products, captive bred reptiles, captive bred exotic pets, reptile related merchandise, exotic pet related goods and supplies. All under one roof for one day. Reptile Clubs, Exotic Pet Clubs, Reptile Rescue missions and various government related programs are also present to help answer any questions that any novice or long term reptile and exotic pet keeper need answered on the spot.

Exotic Pets - Degu - as part of the expert series by GeoBeats.
I am Beth Randall and I am the Director at Critter Camp Exotic Pet Sanctuary and this is a degu and they are native to South America. Their a small rodent that is actually related to guinea pigs and chinchillas. They were popular as pets here in the United States about a decade ago or so, in the '90s and they are wiggly and not real handle able. Some of them can be somewhat friendly. But they live up to seven years, which is very long for a small rodent. Their tails are very fragile. You cannot pull their tail or mess with their tail. It will actually break off.
Their teeth are orange and that shows that they are healthy. He is not going to let me show you. But, they are also very prone to diabetes and so, they cannot have anything that has sugar in them. They cannot even have something like an apple. That has way too much sugar. They need to have a special degu food. Degu pellets or a bird seed with no raisins or fruit in it. They also chew more than most small animals and that is why they do have to have a wire wheel and they do need a large wheel because they will run in that all the time. They need a lot of exercise.
They can be in groups. They do live in colonies in the wild but, they can also live by themselves, especially males. They sometimes need to be by themselves if they start fighting. They can be an interesting, fun, little pet. Again, not something probably for the beginner but, something unique for someone who is a little more experienced with small rodents and want something a little different.
